What Is Ceremonial Cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is not hot chocolate. It is the pure, minimally processed seed of the cacao fruit, prepared with intention and used for centuries as a heart-opening medicine.
It is rich in theobromine, magnesium, and the natural compounds that gently open the heart, deepen the breath, and soften the mind. It is a plant ally for meditation, ritual, creative work, and personal ceremony.
El Tejido Comunidad
From a Small Community in Colombia
This cacao comes from El Tejido Comunidad, a partner community in Colombia where cacao is grown, harvested, and prepared by hand. The beans are organically cultivated, fermented, sun-dried, lightly toasted, and stone-ground into a pure paste.
Nothing is added. Nothing is removed.
When you purchase this cacao, you are supporting a living tradition, a small farming community, and the continued practice of ceremonial cacao as a sacred medicine.
How to Use It
Basic Recipe
Start with 2 "fingers" of ceremonial cacao.
Add 7 ounces of hot water or your favorite plant milk per finger (14oz per two).
Add spics and sweetener if desired. I like Cayenne, Nutmeg, (or Allspice), and Honey in mine.
Whisk or blend until smooth.
Drink slowly. Breathe. Set an intention.
If you are new to cacao or sensitive to its effects, begin with 1 "finger" and increase gradually.
Storage is simple:
Keep it cool and dry, away from direct sunlight.
